Affordable Housing Trust

Mission

The Lincoln Affordable Housing Trust was established by a vote of Town Meeting in 2006.  The purpose of the Trust is to provide for the creation and preservation of affordable housing for the benefit of low and moderate income households, and to use the Trust Fund accordingly.  Funds or real property may be given to the Trust through donation or votes of Town Meeting.  Trust funds are disbursed by a vote of the Affordable Housing Trust.

The Trust is appointed by the Select Board, and its membership includes a member of the Housing Commission, Finance Committee, and Select Board.
