Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee

The Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) advises Lincoln’s Select Board on matters of bicycling and pedestrian safety and access.  BPAC works across town boards, committees, and staff. We are composed of representatives appointed by the Select Board, the Planning Board, and Parks & Recreation Committee and four at large members.

Current work

  • Collaboration with Lincoln250: Ride with GPS Experience: biking/walking route across historically significant locations in Lincoln
  • Implement and maintain Master Plan for cycling and walking in Lincoln
  • Advise Select Board on MassDOT projects including 2A, Baker Bridge, etc.
  • Events (e.g., Walk, Bike & Roll to School, eBike Demo)
  • Work with Community Center Building Committee to ensure safe walking and biking access to and around the new community center
  • Participate in Transportation Coalition meetings and projects, including maintaining the Transportation Coalition 5-Year Plan

BPAC meets monthly, generally on the second Thursday of the month at 7:30 pm. Check the town calendar for dates, times and locations.
