[ARCHIVED] Learn about the 100 Bedford Road Project

100 Bedford Road Project

Parks & Recreation, the Conservation Commission, the Community Preservation Committee, the Rural Land Foundation and Lincoln Youth Soccer are pleased to share the following video with you, which provides an overview of the 100 Bedford Road or Wang Project. The project, which will be discussed at Town Meeting on Saturday, March 25th, is Warrant Article #11, and if approved, will result in the purchase of 12 acres of land for conservation and recreation purposes.

In addition to the brief video, more information is being mailed to Lincoln residents this week in a bulk mailing (addressed from the Rural Land Foundation). This exciting project seeks to:
Create the first new athletic field in Lincoln in more than half a century;
Conserve 9 acres of land, protecting important watershed areas; and
Provide a state-approved land swap for solar.
