Lincoln Woman Dies In Farm Incident

WOBURN - Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan has announced that Lenore Travis, 67, of Lincoln, has died from injuries suffered in a farm-related incident today which occurred outside on land off North Great Road in Lincoln just after 3:30 p.m..

"This woman died in a tragic incident,” said District Attorney Ryan. "Her husband and children have suffered a tragic loss. While this remains an active investigation, early indications are that this was an accident.”

Lincoln Police Chief Kevin Kennedy adds, "The entire community of Lincoln has the Travis family in their thoughts. This appears to have been a horrible accident which has left the town stunned and in mourning."

This incident is being investigated by the Lincoln Police Department and Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Middlesex District Attorney's Office.
