[ARCHIVED] Self Defense Class

The Lincoln Police will be offering two new women's self defense classes:

Each session will be TWO nights for THREE hours. The first night we will go over basic safety and then learn self-defense tactics like blocks, punches, and strikes. The second night will consist of several simulations requiring you to utilize what you have learned to escape. The simulations grow in intensity requiring the participant to use tactics they've learned to escape a volatile situation. The goal of the course is escape.

Session A: January 15 and 20 6:30-9:30, Rec Center
Session B: February 3 and 10, 6:30-9:30 Rec Center

The class sizes will be limited to 15 women. Those interested in the course should contact Self Defense Coordinator Jena Salon: jenasalon@gmail.com
