Lincoln-Sudbury Regional District

School Committee Member

The Lincoln-Sudbury Regional District School Committee and the Select Boards of the Towns of

Lincoln and Sudbury announce a vacancy for the position of School Committee Member.

Massachusetts General Law 41:11 and the Lincoln-Sudbury Regional Agreement states that

vacancies which occur on the Regional School District Committee shall be filled by the remaining

members of the Committee acting together with the Chairperson of the Board of Selectmen of

each member town.

The appointee filling such vacancy shall serve until the next Regional District election and until

their successor has been elected and qualified. At the next Regional District election following

the occurrence of such vacancy, a successor to serve for the balance of the unexpired term, if

any, shall be elected.

For election to fill a vacancy, a candidate must receive a majority of the votes of the offices

entitled to vote.

Candidate will be voted at a joint meeting of the remaining members of the Lincoln-Sudbury

Regional School Committee and the Chairperson of the Select Boards of Lincoln and Sudbury on

August 10, 2023 at 7PM.
