The COA&HS offers a variety of presentations and programs given by experts to help you in various parts of life:
English at Large
Would you like help improving your English? The COA&HS, through partnership with English at Large, offers one on one English language tutoring provided by a volunteer teacher that matches your schedule. Give us a call to sign up!
Legal Clinic
Questions about estate planning or probate? Call us to sign up for a FREE 25 minutes consultation with Sasha Golden, an Elder Law Attorney at Golden Law Center. This clinic typically runs on the second Friday of each month and can be done in-person or virtually via Zoom. Check our monthly newsletter for more detailed information.
Realtor Office Hours
Do you have real estate questions big or small? Wondering which repairs should be prioritized to bring a greater return? Do you need guidance or a starting point? Do you need help creating a one-, two-, or five-year downsizing plan? Terry Perlmutter, Lincoln resident and realtor, is offering FREE 30-minute personalized consultation to address your specific questions and concerns. Tech Tutoring
Looking for help with your laptop, tablet, smartphone, or IPad? Call us to book a FREE 45-minute tech tutoring appointment with one of our technological gurus. TAX PREPARATION
Each year in February and March, trained volunteers offer preparation of state and local tax returns through the AARP/IRS Tax Aide program. Check the monthly newsletter beginning each January for more information. AARP Volunteers are scheduling appointments on Mondays to help complete taxes. Call 781-259-8811 and place your name on the AARP Tax Interest List.
SHINE
(Serving Health Information Needs of Everyone) (MA Exec. Office of Elder Affairs and Minuteman Senior Services) Certified Counselors are available to give help regarding health insurance, medical bills and long-term care. This clinic usually runs on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, but check the monthly newsletter for more specific dates and times. Spots fill up fast, so call to book your appointment!
FUEL ASSISTANCE
Need help paying fuel bills? Call Lily Sonis (sonisl@lincolntown.org) or Natalia Dedkov (dedkovn@lincolntown.org) to see if you qualify for Fuel Assistance, a Massachusetts program providing help to income-eligible residents to pay for fuel. The Fuel Assistance Program operates November through April.

For assistance with veterans benefits and other related issues, contact Peter Harvell at (781) 259-8811 or harvellp@lincolntown.org to schedule an appointment. Peter Harvell holds office hours at Bemis Hall every Thursday between 9:00 am and noon.
