MVP 2.0 Pilot Project
HOW CAN LINCOLN BE A BETTER COMMUNITY?
The Town of Lincoln wants to ensure that, as a community, we are safe and provided for as we adapt to the changing climate around us.
WHAT IS MVP 2.0?
MVP (Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness) is a state-funded grant program that helps communities across Massachusetts adapt to our changing climate and implement projects that build community resilience. In 2023 Lincoln, along with 32 other communities, was selected for the new MVP 2.0 pilot program and awarded a grant for $95,000. MVP 2.0 is about building on the work done during the MVP 1.0 process by expanding community involvement, improving social resilience, and translating priorities into action. This work will culminate in a seed project that jump-starts or advances the community’s resilience priorities.
