Rink Rules

• Users skate at own risk 
• All materials brought to the ice should be removed by the user when their skate is over
• No one is permitted on ice without skates
• No food or beverages allowed on ice
• Skating in a manner that endangers or interferes with other skaters’ safety or pleasure is prohibited 
• Pass or overtake carefully. Roughness, excessive speeding or weaving through other skaters is prohibited
• No tag or games of any kind
• Throwing snowballs or objects on the ice is prohibited
• While on ice, skaters must move in a counter clockwise rotation 
• No one is allowed on ice during maintenance of any kind 
• No dogs or pets permitted on ice
• No smoking/vaping on ice or on town grounds
• Less experienced users are recommended to wear elbow pads, wrist supports and knee pads 
• Please use caution entering and exiting the ice 
• Please park in the designated parking area, not on the Pierce House lawn along the driveway
• The Parks and Recreation Department holds the right to close the facility due to inclement weather and if the rink is deemed unsafe/unplayable
