Placemaking is a multi-faceted approach to place identity and the planning, design and management of public spaces. Placemaking capitalizes on a local community's assets, inspiration, and potential, with the intention of creating public spaces that promote people's health, happiness, and well-being.

The SLPIC Placemaking Team is exploring funding opportunities for improved common space areas, and/or a playground/nature area for the Lincoln Station area. The Wayfinding Team and Placemaking Team are working together to coordinate efforts.
