MBTA SCHEDULE - Take the MBTA!
Take the train from Lincoln to Concord on April 19, 2025! Trains are running once an hour, outbound from North Station, beginning at 4:30am. First train stops in Lincoln at 5:04am. Just in time for the 6am Dawn Salute in Concord. To learn more, click on the train schedule. **Note: Bikes will not be allowed on the trains.

Parking for the train in Lincoln - Residents and visitors are strongly encouraged to park in the non-paved lot first (approximately 45 spots available). The paved lot should only be used once the non-paved spots are full.
Take the bus to Concord on April 19th - A school bus will make continuous loops from the Lincoln School which will include 3 stops; K-4 (Smith), 5-8 (Brooks) and the Hartwell parkings lot to the Concord Museum with a stop at the Walden Pond parking lot. This service is free and runs from 6am-9pm. The frequency of the bus arriving and leaving will depend on many uncontrollable factors. There are no set pick-up times at the school. Please allow plenty of time. Parking is available at the school.
CREDENTIALING FOR LINCOLN RESIDENTS
Credentialing by the Lincoln Police Department for those directly affected by the Route 2A closure on Saturday, April 19th will be available at the transfer station on April 12th. Click here to learn more.
LINCOLN ROAD CLOSURES
Road closures will begin on Saturday, April 19th at 5am and will remain closed till 5pm. Click here to learn more.
LINCOLN'S TRANSFER STATION WILL BE CLOSED ON SATURDAY, APRIL 19, 2025. However, the Transfer Station will remain open until 6pm on Wednesday, April 16th.

CONCORD ROAD CLOSURES
Road closures will start in Concord Center on Friday April 18 around 6 PM and will remain closed up through late Saturday April 19. The opening of the roads will start after the Drone Show Saturday night and will be completely opened by 11 PM Saturday night. Please see the map for details. The streets outlined in red are hard closures, meaning there is basically no traffic allowed and the streets outlined in yellow are soft closures, meaning that they are open to local traffic. LEXINGTON PARKING MAP - click here for the map
The best place to park is the town's municipal parking lots. These lots are strategically located throughout the town, including near Lexington Center, the Battle Green, and other event venues. Additionally, during larger events such as the commemorations of the Battles of Lexington, designated parking areas may be available at nearby schools or public facilities, with shuttle services provided to transport attendees to the event sites. It’s advisable to arrive early to secure parking, as spaces can fill up quickly during peak times. Additionally, visitors should be mindful of any parking restrictions or permit requirements in residential areas surrounding event locations. Satellite Parking details and Center Parking Details

BIKE DETAILS - Concord - Bicyclists are advised to use caution along the Concord parade route and park bikes at the bike racks located around town center.
BIKE DETAILS - Lexington - Four bike corrals will be set up around town. Riders are strongly encouraged to utilize the MinutemanBikeway, especially as crowds grow leading up to the parade. Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, or other forms of recreational wheeled transportation are not allowed on the sidewalk in Lexington Center. Click here for more details.
ROUTE 2A is open to bicyclists. Just use caution as there will be buses and emergency vehicles using Rte 2A & Hanscom Drive.

GETTING TO EVENTS IN THE MINUTE MAN NATIONAL HISTORICAL PARK ON APRIL 19, 2025 FROM CONCORD OR LEXINGTON.
Also, there will be free shuttle buses running about every 15 minutes from 6am to 7pm. The pick-up/ drop-off locations are in Concord at the Concord Museum or in Lexington on Park Drive. These shuttle buses will travel Rt. 2A with stops in MMNHP at the Visitors Center and the Hartwell Tavern (in Lincoln). Click on this map for more details.
