The Town of Lincoln maintains four public cemeteries.
Daily operation of the cemeteries, including requests for interment, lot sales, genealogical inquiries, and marker installation, are overseen by the Town Clerk, who serves as the town’s Cemetery Agent.

Lot Sales: Lots are available for purchase at the Lincoln Cemetery at a cost of $20 per square foot. Lot sales are limited to Lincoln residents who are 65 years of age or older.

Interments: Interments are performed Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 1:00pm.  The fees are as follows:

Standard Interment: $750 weekday; $1,000 Saturday

Cremains: $300 weekday; $500 Saturday

*There will be a overtime fee of $300 for interments at 1pm or later.

Cemetery Markers: Upright markers are permissible only in certain sections of the cemetery; their dimensions may not exceed 42 inches in height and 54 inches in length. Flush markers are permissible throughout the cemetery. Installation of any marker requires approval from the Cemetery Commission and prior notice to the Town Clerk’s office.
