|
Registration and changes to your voter registration can be made online at Massachusetts Secretary of State's Election Division, in person at the Town Clerk’s Office during normal business hours, or by submitting a Mail in Voter Registration form (paper copies of this form are also available at the Lincoln Public Library). Mail-in registration forms must be post-marked by the twentieth day prior to the election.
The registration deadline for first-time voters is twenty (20) days prior to the election or the Annual Town Meeting in which they wish to participate. The deadline to register to vote in a Special Town Meeting is ten (10) days prior to the Special Town Meeting.
Massachusetts law protects Voters' Rights by strictly limiting the circumstances under which an individual can be removed from the Voter List. This can result in a List which is bloated with the names of departed residents. If you are a Registered Voter of the Town of Lincoln and anticipate leaving or have already left town without informing us in writing, please do so here and now. You may download and print a postcard notice of your departure here.
