  1. Confronting the Climate Change Crisis : a 24-hour Global Conversation with Ariel Hoover & Bob Moore via Zoom

    October 11, 2020, 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM

"24 Hours of Reality" is an international event organized by the Climate Reality Project and open to anyone interested in discovering how they can make a difference on this important issue that touches almost every part of our lives -- the economy, jobs, healthcare, biodiversity, food and water, and social justice to name a few. For 24 straight hours activists from around the world will lead digital presentations and discussions highlighting what we can do to confront these challenges. On Oct. 11 join Ariel Hoover & Bob Moore trained Climate Reality Leadership Corps members and former residents of Lincoln as they discuss this very important topic. Climate Reality will plant a tree for each person who attends. To receive a Zoom link, RSVP to climatereality.leecountychapter@gmail.com and indicate you are from the Lincoln Public Library. Participation is free and open to all.
