[ARCHIVED] Pierce Park CLOSED on Monday, June 15 for Grub Control Treatment

Due to a significant grub and chinch bug infestation, SavATree of Lincoln will be applying a traditional pest control product to Pierce Park next Monday, June 15 in the morning. Closure signs will be posted at all entry points and will be removed when the park is safe to walk on.

Based on our analysis, the rate of infestation requires traditional methods, as organic methods would not be effective. According to our contractor, the park will be safe to reopen as soon as the product dries into the soil, but as an added precaution, we will be closing the park for the remainder of the day. The park will reopen for public use on Tuesday, June 16.

The Pierce House, driveway and lawn are not impacted by this treatment and are open for business.

SavATree is a licensed provider of both organic and traditional pest control products.
