Oriole Landing Housing Development
Civico Development is proposing Oriole Landing, a 60-unit mixed-income rental community located at 1 Mary's Way, adjacent to The Commons. As proposed, Oriole Landing will offer a diversity of housing options including fifteen units (25%) reserved for those earning a maximum of 80% of the Area Median Income. All 60 units will count on the Town’s Subsidized Housing Inventory (SHI).
PLANNING BOARD PROCESS
An application for a Preliminary Development & Use Plan was filed with the Planning Board with a hearing held on Tuesday, March 6th, continued to March 13th (due to snow was continued to March 20th, 2018) held at 16 Lincoln Road, Lincoln in the Donaldson Room. The Applicant was required to mail a copy of the plan to all postal patrons in Lincoln at least 14 days prior to the hearing. TOWN MEETING PROCESS
At the March 24, 2018 Town Meeting, Lincoln Voters voted to approve by 2/3rds vote a Bylaw Amendment to establish a North Lincoln Planning Development Overlay District and a Preliminary Development and Land Use Plan. Click here to view the Warrant Article. The Bylaw Amendment is not final until it is approved by the Attorney General's Office which takes about a month following Town Meeting.
Within 2 years following Town Meeting, Civico Development is required to return back to the Planning Board for Site Plan Special Permit Approval through a public hearing process. Civico has indicated they will file an application within a few weeks following Town Meeting. A hearing notice and abutter notification will occur as well as a mailing to each postal patron in Lincoln. We will also post dates on this website.

Civico has created a number of ways for the public to learn more about the project and/or ask questions. A series of open houses were held in addition to a website and facebook page.
Civico met with Lincoln’s various boards and committees. Civico hosted a neighborhood meeting at the Library on January 18, 2018 at 7:00 pm in the Tarbell Room.
Civico Development hosed Community Open Houses at the Library where the public was welcomed to drop in and learn more about Oriole Landing from the development team. The dates were as follows:
