June/July 2017 Updates:
The Town of Wayland is proposing a recreational field at a property located on Trout Brook Road in Wayland. The proposed recreational field will include an 11v11 soccer field (130 yards x 110 yards), a 34-space parking lot, and a pathway connecting to the existing Farrar Pond Trail Network. A traffic study will be conducted by TEC. Tetra Tech has been hired as a consultant to peer review the project and will be reviewing the traffic study and environmental studies. No bleachers or lights are being proposed. The existing trail will continue to exist and not be impacted by the new field. The Lincoln Board of Selectmen issued a letter to the Town of Wayland. (see project documents on this page).
