Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical School received Planning Board approval for Site Plan Review and Conservation Commission approval to allow construction of a new school. Construction of the new school will be located where the current sports fields are located. Once the new school is constructed the existing school will be demolished and new sports fields will be constructed in its place. Site work has commenced in early June 2017 and will continue for 2 years. The school will open it's doors September of 2019 to approximately 625 students. The area consists of 65.71 acres with a portion in Lexington and a portion in Lincoln. The current school is located in Lexington. The new school will be located in Lincoln. The proposed access to the school will remain the same.
