Lincoln Has a New Community Health Nurse

trishTricia McGean, RN, BSN, is Lincoln's new Community Health Nurse working through the Board of Health and the Council on Aging. Tricia has provided Wellness Clinics at Bemis Hall and Lincoln Woods for many years and has 22 years of experience as a Home Care Nurse for Emerson Hospital. In her new role she will continue providing Wellness Clinics and expand services with home visits to do nursing evaluations, monthly health education seminars at Bemis Hall, and investigations as directed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health on food/tick borne illnesses and communicable diseases.  Tricia says "This is our town and I am your new Public Health Nurse, so let’s work together to get Lincoln healthy and proactive. Thanks for allowing me to take the time to introduce myself on paper and I look forward to working with many of you in the upcoming months." New Veterans Services Officer Assists Veterans and Dependants

VSO Peter HarvellPeter Harvell, Lieutenant Colonel (Retired), US Army, is ew Veterans Services Officer. Peter will be helping Lincoln's veterans and their families with state and federal benefits and other service-related issues, as well as conducting outreach throughout the town.  Peter served for 23 years in the US Army as a Strategic Planner, Congressional Lobbyist, and Operational Planner in Saudi Arabia, South Korea, and elsewhere.  He was the Veterans Services Officer for Sudbury and, most recently, for Framingham for many years.  You can contact Peter at lincolnveterans@lincolntown.org or by calling the Council on Aging at (781) 259-8811.
